Future Growth in Railway Recruitment Board, Are you planning For RRB?

Indian Railway Network is the biggest network which was started by British council in India. One question arise in my mind that will a good future growth get in Railway Recruitment Board? Planning for RRB is right choice for me to make a career in Indian Railways. We know that 25-30% people are employed by RRB; means they are working with Indian Railways. A better administration of railways is handled from 17 zones in India.  These zones covered by a General Manager. Each zone has an individual GM for handling effectively to the Railway zone. These zones are divided into divisions which work under DRM or Divisional Railway Manager.  For example- in railway, engineering department faces any problem related to its work, it will report to the DRM of the division for important decision to solve the problem.  Every zone has one or more division according to the size of the zone and each division has a headquarter.

Railway jobs are distributed in four groups or grades- A, B, C, D. Gazetted employees has place in Group A which are selected by UPSC. As we know, UPSC is an agency to recruit job seekers after taking a tough written exam.  UPSC takes three exams to select appropriate candidates. These are based on civil, engineering, medical topics.  Doctors can also get an opportunity to get a job in Railway, if they have cleared UPSC Medical Services Exam. Every candidate who wants to get entry in Railways, they may apply for UPSC exam till 30 years old. Group B is for promoting employees in Railway Department. Group C and D have employees which are selected by RRB. Application form and recruitment notifications are available on employment news papers, official websites of Railways and Many job portal sites on Internet.  Job portal websites are useful than official websites for job seekers because there are gotten other important jobs notification by job seekers.

RRB takes a pre written exam for Group C and Group D, but if numbers of candidates are large who have cleared the Pre exam, they are called for Main written exam. Then selection of candidates will be based on Main exam, Railway does not call candidates for any interview, but degrees or certificates verification is required at the time of joining. For some posts, Candidates face a medical and physiological test in group C and group D. Approx thousand of candidates selected per year in Group D and Hundreds of Candidates selected per year in Group C. Candidates can apply for railway jobs for bright future and career growth.
